HKRC Terms of Use
We, HKRC view and value the personal data of our customers seriously. To comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, we have therefore developed this notice that guides how we collect, store, process, use, disclose, deliver and or transfer our customers’ personal data. In order for us to do so, we kindly ask you to study, understand this notice and indicate your agreement and consent to all of the below by acknowledging at the indicated space provided.
1. Collection, sources and use of personal data
1.1. In the course of your dealings and transaction with us, you may be requested to furnish your personal data (information that relates directly or indirectly to you), from time to time, to enable us to enter into transactions, to respond to your enquiries, to deliver notices, to provide information and updates and or to communicate with you on the services and/ or products related to our business and render services and to generally comply with any regulatory requirements. We may from time to time post photos, videos relating to our services on social media platforms for marketing purposes but such material will have no identifiable clients’ details. We may use or share limited or restricted client’s personal data with our third party service providers (any party that we may transact or deal with to the extent necessary to fulfill the purposes listed above and in consistency with this Privacy Notice, and reasonable care will be exercised to protect our client’s personal information.
1.2. Your personal data will be obtained from the following sources, where applicable or such sources which we may see fit from time to time:-
a. Any forms relating to registration (whether in electronic or hardcopy format)
b. As applicable, publicly available or publicly accessible information; and or
c. Any other written or verbal communications or documents delivered to us prior to and during usage of the mobile application known as HKRC or any future names it may adopt.
2. Types of personal data that we may collected from you
Such personal data may, include but not limited to: name, age, identity card / passport number, gender, address, email address, contact numbers, date of birth, marital status, occupation, income range, race and religious beliefs, nationality, credit card or bank account information and information of third party such as your emergency contact person or authorized representatives. The list of personal data stated above is not exhaustive and may include other personal data depending on the nature of dealings and transaction.
3. Protection and disclosures
3.1. We take the necessary precautions to keep confidential your personal data and will not disclose any of your identifiable personal data to any third party without your consent stated herein. We will retain your personal data for the period necessary to fulfill many different purposes outline in this Privacy Notice unless a longer retention is permitted or required by law.

We reserve the right to decline to process such update, amend, vary or delete the personal data that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, impractical, illegal, unjust or for which access is not otherwise required by local law.
3.4. We reserve the right to update and amend this notice from time to time as may require. We will notify you of any changes via announcements on our mobile application, or other appropriate means as determined by us.
4. Acknowledgement & Consent
4.1. We hereby willfully and voluntarily acknowledge that We have read and understood this Privacy
Notice and confirm that my/ our consent to HKRC in collecting, processing, disclosing and or transferring my/ our personal data in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
4.2. We also confirm that We have obtained my/ our family members, spouse, friends and/ or dependents consent that We have provided (or will provide to the processing, disclosing and transferring of that personal data in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
4.3. We confirm that all personal data provided by me/ us are accurate, complete, not misleading and up-to-date.

5. Purpose
This document sets out our policy for responding to requests for deletion of data under UK data protection law.
This document explains the rights of the data subject in relation to data deletion and the responsibilities of HKRC Malaysia App in responding with such a request.
6. Individual Rights
An individual has the right to erasure, also known as
‘the right to be forgotten’.
The principle underpinning this right is to enable an individual to request the deletion or removal of personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
7. When does the right to erasure apply?
As stipulated in UK data protection law, individuals have a right to have personal data erased and to prevent processing in specific circumstances:
7.1. Where the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was originally collected/processed;
7.2. When the individual withdraws consent;
7.3. When the individual objects to the processing and there is no other legal ground for the relevant processing activity;
8. What information does HKRC Malaysia retain?
The HKRC Malaysia App stores data about individuals in order to Identify user in app identity only.
We store the name, e-mail address, gender if available, and subsequent Hobbies (optional for each individual in order to let in app users to know more about you.
This data is stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found in our in app login page term and conditions.
If consent is provided, personal data may be stored in our CRM system for the purposes of contacting you regarding HKRC latest news, products and promotions.
9. How can data be delete
If you registered an account from HKRC, HKRC will acts as data controller. In this case, we will delete the all user data (histories and user identity) upon request (via email to support@hkrc.my), upon closure of your account, or after three years of inactivity.
No information will be held to third party for any sort of profitable nor non-profitable activities.
A email holder of support@hkrc.my of the HKRC Account, acting on behalf of their organization, can delete data from their system whenever they wish.
This data is deleted from the system immediately and cannot be recovered by any users or HKRC employees after this point.
Data which has been deleted or otherwise destroyed cannot be recovered at any time.
Sufficient warning is given to the account administrator before data are permanently delete.
10. User Request User Deletion Policy
The user may request to delete the account and personal data from HKRC Malaysia App at any time and for any reason by contacting us at support@hkrc.my.
We will process the request within 30 days after verifying the user’s identity and confirming the consent.
If user delete the account, they will lose access to all the features and services of HKRC Malaysia App, including profile, songs, gifts, rewards, and interactions with other users.
They will also forfeit any unused balance in their account.
Deleting the account does not affect the rights and obligations of other users or third parties who have interacted with you through HKRC Malaysia App.
For example, if they have sent gifts to another user, they will still retain those gifts after user delete the account.
We may retain some of the user’s personal data for legal, regulatory, security, or operational purposes, as permitted by applicable law.
We will also respect any retention policies or labels that apply to the data based on our contractual obligations with our partners or customers.
We reserve the right to deactivate or delete your account due to prolonged inactivity, breach of our terms of service, or other reasons at our sole discretion.
